Election Resources
Wayne County NY Election Commissioners​ acting as the Board of Elections carry out the duties prescribed by the State of NY for conducting voter registration as well as early voting and voting-day procedures and reporting. They are not elected. They are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors.
Poll Workers at voting sites are employed by the County of Wayne (for the day they serve) under the supervision of the Board of Elections to manage polling sites around the county. Any registered voter can be trained to be a poll worker.
Elected Officials are voted into office by an approved election process. They become sworn representatives of the governed within an election district. Party affiliation is important during the election process as much as it guides future policy decisions.
We, as the local committee vet candidates and can endorse them with integrity. We pray they will stay true to their word and work, if elected, and be humble leaders. They have agreed to take up the business of the government for the good of the governed.

Note: School Districts also hold votes at separate events in NYS to elect Board members and pass school budgets but that is not dependent on party affiliation only residency within the school district.​​

​Town of Macedon NY:
Supervisor, Councilmember, Clerk, Collector of Tax, Highway Superintendent and Town Justice (2)
NOTE: There is no longer a separate municipal Village in Macedon. All business is conducted by the Town. -
