Election Season 2025

Petitions will be coming around town for Republican candidates from February 25 to March 31 for the positions listed below which include County elected positions, as well as state committee members and state delegates. Any resident who is a registered Republican can sign for a Republican candidate petition. Signors can sign once for each position that is open. If more than one candidate/position is listed on the same petition, one signature on that petition counts as a signature for each position on the top of the petition.

The Town of Macedon has three elected positions open for the 2025 general election.

TOWN OF MACEDON POSITIONS

  • Town Court Justice (1 seat) - 4 yrs.

  • Town Councilmember (2 seats) - 4 yrs.

WAYNE COUNTY POSITIONS

  • Wayne County Clerk

  • Wayne County Sheriff

  • Wayne County Judge

COMMITTEE PETITIONS

The Town of Macedon Republican Committee members will also be carrying petitions for a position on this committee. There are five (5) districts in the town and two (2) representatives allotted for each district for a total of 10 committee members. These committee members also serve as representatives of each district on the Wayne County Republican Committee. The Town Committee is tasked with vetting candidates for the local elected positions and assisting with annual primary petitions.
